ghd Price Guide NZ - What Every ghd Actually Costs
Every ghd tool sold in New Zealand has a recommended retail price set by ghd. Almost nobody charges it. Prices move constantly, sale to sale, so the honest answer to "what does a ghd cost in NZ?" is: it depends on the week.
We check. Our prices are taken from our live store on 3 November 2026. The other retailers' prices were last checked on 13 July 2026 at ghd NZ, Vivo, Shaver Shop, Farmers, Haircare Market and Hair & Beauty Online. We list our price next to the cheapest we could find anywhere in New Zealand - including every model where someone else beats us. If a chain is cheaper on the tool you want, this table will tell you, and you should go and buy it from them.
We are a salon, not a warehouse. On the big-volume models the chains buy on terms we cannot match and they will usually be cheaper - that is simply true and we would rather say it than bury it. Everything we sell ships free, is genuine ghd stock, and carries the full two-year warranty.

Why ghd prices vary so much
Large chains buy ghd in volume and can discount deeper than a salon can. When you see a ghd straightener at 30% off, that is usually a chain clearing stock on a time-limited promo, not a standing price. It is worth checking the date on any "sale" you see.
Which ghd should you actually buy?
