Extensions done properly are invisible. That takes three things: the right method for your hair, hair that actually matches yours, and a cut that blends the two together. We do all three in-house at 28 Helwick Street — and every set is placed by Jack.
Jack Litherland
Every set at UKIYO is placed by Jack. He spent a decade in London between Samantha Cusick in Notting Hill and Hadley Yates in Covent Garden, and in 2023 was named Extensions Specialist of the Year by Hairdressers Journal.
He's a master stylist first and an extensions specialist second, which is exactly why the work sits so well — every set is cut, blended and shaped into the hair you already have.

Consultation & Care
Every set starts here. Jack matches your hair, talks you through bond or tape, checks the condition of your own hair and quotes the hair itself. No obligation, and nothing is ordered until you're happy.
Tape-ins are reset every six to eight weeks — removed, re-taped with fresh tabs and repositioned at the root, using the same hair. Keratin bonds are removed and replaced once they've grown down, usually every three to four months.
Always done in the salon, never at home. Removal is gentle, residue-free and finished with a treatment. Book it on its own or as part of a refit.
