Questions we get asked +
Which Kérastase Chronologiste product should I start with?
Start with Bain Régénérant and the Masque Intense Régénérant. The shampoo is where most people notice the difference in softness and scent. Then add Thermique Régénérant as your heat protector, and L'Huile de Parfum to finish. If you only want one, most clients pick the oil for the scent. More in our Chronologiste guide.
Is Chronologiste anti-ageing for hair?
Kérastase calls it a revitalising range for hair that's lost its shine and softness over time. In practice, it makes hair feel softer, look glossier and smell beautiful. It won't reverse greying or thinning. For thinning hair, look at Kérastase Genesis or Densifique, and talk to a GP if the shedding is sudden.
How do I use Chronologiste L'Huile de Parfum?
Use one or two pumps on damp lengths before blow-drying, or a little on dry ends to finish. It's both a hair oil and a fragrance, so most of our clients use it for the scent as much as the shine. Keep it off your roots. The 15ml travel size is a good way to try it first.
Chronologiste or Nutritive: what's the difference?
Nutritive is Kérastase's range for dry hair, focused on moisture. Chronologiste suits all hair types and is more about shine, softness and scent. If your hair feels dry and rough, Nutritive will do more. If it's in decent shape and you want a luxurious routine, go for Chronologiste. See which Kérastase range suits you.
