Gloss Absolu is the Kérastase range for shine. It suits long or mid-length hair that frizzes and has lost its gloss, and leaves lengths smooth and reflective without weighing them down. It's become a favourite with our clients at UKIYO for that glassy finish.

Which Gloss Absolu product, and how we use it +

Bain Gloss Absolu is the shampoo and Fondant Gloss Absolu the conditioner; together they smooth the hair surface so it reflects more light. Use them as your everyday wash if frizz and dullness are the main complaints.

Insta-Glaze Spray is the leave-in. Mist it through damp hair before blow-drying for smoothness and heat protection. Glaze Oil is the finishing step: a drop or two on dry ends for shine and to calm flyaways. The travel trio is a good way to try the range first. What is Kérastase Gloss Absolu for?
Dull, frizzy lengths that want shine. The range uses an acid glossing system to smooth the cuticle, so hair reflects more light and feels softer.

Which Gloss Absolu product should I start with?
The Bain and Fondant as your wash, then the Glaze Oil on damp or dry ends. If frizz is the main problem, add the Frizz Glaze Cream before blow-drying.

Is Gloss Absolu OK for fine hair?
Yes, if you go light on the leave-ins. Use the oil on the ends only and keep the cream to a small amount.
