What's in Redken Brews?
Brews is Redken's men's line. There's a Mint Shampoo, a 3-in-1 that works as shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and a styling range: OutPlay Texture Pomade, Clay Pomade, Work Hard Moulding Paste, Maneuver Cream Pomade and Dishevel. Our Redken Brews guide matches each styler to a haircut.

Which Brews styling product should I use?
For a matte, textured finish, Clay Pomade or Dishevel. For a stronger hold that you can rework through the day, Work Hard Moulding Paste. For a bit of shine and a flexible hold, Maneuver Cream Pomade. OutPlay Texture Pomade sits in between, with texture and some hold. If you're unsure, ask your barber which finish suits your cut.

How do I use Brews styling products?
Start with a small amount, about the size of a pea. Rub it between your palms until warm, then work it through towel-dried or dry hair from back to front. Shape with your fingers or a comb. Add more if you need it; it's easier than taking it out. Most Brews stylers wash out with one shampoo.

Is the Brews 3-in-1 enough on its own?
For short hair and a quick routine, yes. It cleans, conditions and works as a body wash, which is handy for travel or the gym. If your hair is longer, coloured or dry, a separate shampoo and conditioner will do a better job. The Brews Mint Shampoo is a good option if you want a fresher feel on the scalp.

Is Redken Brews only for men?
It's marketed as a men's line, but there's nothing stopping anyone from using it. The stylers work well on short cuts of any kind, and Dishevel and the Clay Pomade are popular for textured crops and pixies. For longer hair, the wider Redken styling range has more options.
