Please read these terms before you enter. By entering you agree to them.

1. Promoter

The promoter is UKIYO Wanaka Limited, 28 Helwick Street, Wanaka 9305 ("UKIYO", "we", "us"). Contact: accounts@ukiyo.co.nz or 03 443 1040.

2. Who can enter

Open to New Zealand residents aged 18 or over. Employees of UKIYO Wanaka Limited and Crew Stylists Queenstown, and their immediate families, are not eligible. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.

3. Promotion period

Entries open on Wednesday 4 November 2026 and close at 11:59pm NZDT on Sunday 29 November 2026. Entries received after the close are not eligible.

4. How to enter

There are two ways to enter. Free entry: complete the entry form on ukiyo.co.nz, on crewstylists.co.nz (Crew Stylists Queenstown, our sister salon), or the UKIYO Haircare form on Facebook or Instagram with a valid email address (prize choice is optional). All entry channels go into one combined draw. One free entry per person across all of them; if you enter on more than one site or form, it counts once (matched by email). Purchase entries: see below.

Bonus entries: on Instagram (@ukiyohaircarenz), tagging a friend in the comments of the giveaway post earns one bonus entry for you and that friend (one per comment, a maximum of 5 per person), and sharing the giveaway post to your public story and tagging us earns one bonus entry. To win, you must also have completed the entry form so we can contact you. Bonus entries go into the draw for the prize you chose on the form.

Purchase entries. Every online order placed at ukiyo.co.nz between 12:00am NZDT Wednesday 4 November 2026 and 11:59pm NZDT Sunday 29 November 2026 earns one bonus entry for every whole $1 of the order total paid after discounts, excluding shipping (for example, a $129.90 order earns 129 entries). Purchase entries apply to orders on ukiyo.co.nz only and are counted from our Shopify order records under the email address on the order. Buyers are entered automatically whether or not they subscribe to our emails. If the buyer has also completed the entry form, their purchase entries go into the draw for the prize they chose; otherwise they go into the Kérastase Summer Bag draw. Orders that are cancelled or fully refunded before the draw earn no entries, and partly refunded orders are recounted on the amount kept. In-salon purchases and gift card purchases are not included. No purchase is necessary to enter or win: one free entry through the form gives you the same chance per entry as a purchase entry.

5. Prizes

There are 30 prizes in total, with a total retail value of $3,069 (NZD, RRP incl. GST):

27 x Kérastase Summer Bag: a limited-edition Kérastase Summer 2026 tote (Sun, Sea or Love design, allocated at random) with two Kérastase deluxe travel samples. RRP approx. $66 each.
1 x Sebastian Curl Ritual: Twisted Elastic Curls Shampoo 250ml, Twisted Elastic Curls Conditioner 250ml, Twisted Elastic Curls Mask 150ml, Potion 9 Leave-In Conditioner & Styling Cream 145ml. RRP $242.
1 x Sebastian Repair Ritual: Penetraitt Rescue Repair Shampoo 280ml, Penetraitt Rescue Repair Conditioner 200ml, Penetraitt Rescue Repair Mask 145ml. RRP $171.
1 x Grand prize, Genesis + ghd chronos max: Kérastase Genesis Bain Hydra-Fortifiant 250ml, Fondant Renforçateur 200ml, Masque Reconstituant 200ml and Défense Thermique 150ml, plus a ghd chronos max styler in black. RRP $874.

Prizes are as described and are not transferable or exchangeable, and no cash alternative is offered. If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control, we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Bag designs may differ slightly from images shown.

6. Prize choice and the draw

When you enter, you choose the prize you would most like to win, and you go into the draw for that prize. If you don't choose a prize, you go into the Kérastase Summer Bag draw. Winners are drawn at random from all eligible entries (free, bonus and purchase entries) for each prize on Monday 30 November 2026 at UKIYO, 28 Helwick Street, Wanaka. A person can win one prize only.

7. Winners

We will contact winners by email (and phone if provided) within 3 days of the draw. Winners have 7 days from first contact to reply and claim their prize. If a winner does not claim their prize in that time, or is ineligible, we will redraw that prize. We may publish winners' first names and town on our Instagram and in our emails, unless a winner asks us not to.

8. Delivery

Prizes are posted free to a New Zealand address. Kérastase Summer Bags ship in early December 2026, once they arrive from Kérastase. The Sebastian and grand prizes ship within 10 working days of the winner confirming their address.

9. Your information

We collect your details to run this giveaway and contact winners. If you tick the consent box, we will also send you UKIYO emails and texts about offers and new products. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by replying STOP to texts. We handle your information under the NZ Privacy Act 2020 and our privacy policy. We never collect your friends' contact details.

10. Not affiliated with Meta

This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook or Meta. You release Meta from any liability in connection with this promotion.

11. General

We may disqualify entries that are fraudulent, automated or that breach these terms. If the giveaway cannot run as planned for reasons outside our control, we may change, suspend or end it, giving notice on this page. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
